I'm running a Windows XP on an old Inspiron 6000 (old school, I know). I've already tried going to settings>compiler>toolchain executables and pressing "auto detect" for finding the folder where I installed the compiler, it didn't help, and I've installed and re-installed both Code::Blocks and GNU GCC many times. If I hit "no" I get the command prompt stating "The process returned 4256912 execution time : - 0.000 s Press any key to continue" When I hit "yes" it loops and gives me the pop up again. I just realized it shows that it is still under development. The compiler flags options in codeblocks shows the selection for PIC16 families as 'PIC 16-bit ( p18f452) and variants -mpic16'. though - e.g you could use it with the MS c++ one from the Platform SDK. Papabravo said: That's all well and good, but the 18f452 is not a member of the PIC 14 or 16 families. There is nothing stopping you from using Code::Blocks with another compiler etc.
Codeblocks compiler not working install#
Step 2: Because of your Mac’s security, you won’t be able to install Code Blocks right away and this window will pop-up. Its an IDE which (optionally) comes bundled with MinGW (a windows port of the GNU g++ compiler). To successfully compile graphics code on CodeBlocks, setup winBGIm library. Step 1 : Unzip the compressed file and then launch the Code Blocks application. This is because graphics.h runs is not available in the library folder of CodeBlocks. My problem is that I've installed Code::Blocks and MinGW GNU GCC compiler separately, but when I try to compile my code I get a pop up that says "It seems that your project has not been built yet, would you like to build it now?" with a yes and no option. Compiling graphics codes on CodeBlocks IDE shows an error: Cannot find graphics.h. Hello, I'm not sure if this is the right place to do this but I've looked on google a bit and haven't found diddly.
